Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

West Affric

West Affric is a vast and remote expanse of wild land, ideally suited to adventurous walkers who want to get off the beaten track.
It is situated at the western end of Glen Affric – sometimes described as the most beautiful of all the Scottish glens.
The expansive area sincludes one of the most popular east/west paths in the Highlands, once part of the drove road from Skye to Dingwall.
The National Trust for Scotland bought West Affric in 1993 and alongside our partners we are carrying out vital conservation work to protect it and restore its natural ecosystem.
West Affric is part of the Glen Affric National Scenic Area, a vast area of wild land that gives visitors a sense of being off the beaten track.
